First MCFB Giving Tuesday raises awareness and funds

Giving Tuesday is a day of giving that was started in the US and follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It is, however, gathering popularity in the UK and this year on the 29th of November an estimated 4.5 million people across the UK did something to support a good cause whether donating money, fundraising, volunteering time or talking to friends and family about the work of charities.

Scotland is my home

MCFB is taking part in this year’s #GivingTuesday campaign with a campagin that highlights the support we provide to young people who have settled in Edinburgh. It is the story of Abijah (not her real name).
