MCFB is delighted to invite you to the culmination of our Roots for Routes programming for Edinburgh 900. Through a vibrant partnership with the National Museums Scotland, MCFB service users, staff, students, and other friends, have been working on their own designs to model at a fashion show on June 6th from 6-8 PM at the National Museum on Chambers Street. The evening will contain a runway show, live music, and an evening reception.

Edinburgh 900 and our Roots for Routes programming is all about celebrating heritage while looking towards the future and we are doing just that! Each garment or outfit is lovingly put together with deep meaning for the designer. With sustainable fashion in mind, we encourage use of pre-owned garments or material reclaimed from fast fashion processes. Inspired by senses of home, movement, love, loss, and hope, we weave together narratives of where we have come from and where we are going. As we move down the runway, our stories move with us. We look forward to sharing with you and hope you can join us!
