Art Sale brings in vital funds for work with young people

To celebrate an additional 3 years' of funding for our Banyan Project, we held a launch and art exhibition at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall on 24th May. Speakers at the launch included Prof Viviene Cree of University of Edinburgh Social Work department and Claire Cochrane, engagement manager at Stills Gallery.

We are pleased to say that through the art exhibition and blind auction we raised a total of £1,269.50. This money will be put directly towards funding the work we do with young people and families via our different projects. We would like to thank all of the artists who submitted work,  the staff at the Drill Hall as well as MCFB staff and students who helped to organize the exhibition and launch.
