Attracting and retaining migrants in post-Brexit Scotland: is a social integration strategy the answer?
Some interesting research conclusions on a consultation supported by Scottish Government that MCFB attended in early 2018. MCFB was part of a group that was consulted on questions relating to a range of issues about migrants experiences of arriving and staying in Scotland. Perceptions of migrants in both cities and in rural communities. We were particularly keen to emphasise the point that a national strategy for welcoming settling and retaining new arrivals be developed and implemented, with further consultation with migrant communities and individuals, third sector agencies providing services for migrants and new arrivals as part of that initiative.
