We are excited to have started working in partnership with The Yard, introducing BME children from Rowanfield primary school, a school for children with severe and complex social, emotional and behavioural needs to this amazing space. 

The work forms part of our Footprints Inclusion project, which aims to establish links between Black and Minority Ethnic families and their local communities by working with youth service providers to deliver inclusive group work sessions.

We have already noticed a big difference between the way the children are at school and how they behave when at The Yard, and one or two of them have made friends with other children that attend The Yard. 

When MCFB project worker, Julia, asked the children what the best trips they had ever been on were, they all agreed their weekly trips to The Yard were the best!
