We are so delighted to announce that we have been granted funding from Edinburgh 900 (The City of Edinburgh Council) for our Heritage, Community, and Wellbeing series of events, now entitled “Roots for Routes”. The concept behind this name is that through celebrating and honoring heritage and culture, we find ways to grow towards the future.
The culmination of MCFB’s ‘Roots for Routes’ programming for Edinburgh 900 is coming up! Through a vibrant partnership with the National Museums Scotland, MCFB service users, staff, students, and friends, have been working on their own designs to model at a fashion show on June 6th. See how they tell their stories of past and present, combining elements of their heritage and current lives, through sustainable fashion that they created.
