Banyan Art Sale
To celebrate the re-launch of our Banyan Project, which works with young people affected by past or present domestic abuse, we will be hosting a launch at Out of the Blue in Leith, which will include a short drama performance by young service users as well as speeches by invited guests, including Claire Cochrane from the Stills Gallery, Prof Viv Cree from University of Edinburgh and Ben McPherson MSP (Edinbuirgh North and Leith). Please note, this part of the launch is by invitation only and will commence at 4.30 pm.
Following the launch, from 6pm, we will be opening our Banyan Art Sale, which is open to members of the public with free entry.
The sale will incorporate a blind auction of postcard sized work by participating artists as well as art work on the theme of 'Relationships'. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale will go towards funding the Banyan Project. All items will be priced at maximum £300. Please come along, find out more about our work, support us and a variety of Scottish artists. Details of exhibiting artists to follow here and on our social media pages.
