An update on services during lockdown

Our offices in Coburg Street remain closed during the lockdown. However, we continue to support families remotely via phone calls and video calls whilst restrcitions are in place. We will not be able to run any groups in person but will run some of our groups via Zoom.

Happy Holidays!

We will be closing our offices as well as all remote and telephone support from Thursday 24 December for the Christmas and New Year period. We will be working remotely again from Wednesday 6 January and back in the office from Monday 11 January 2021.

We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Stay safe and stay well.

Best wishes,

From everyone at MCFB.

A Zoom-based farewell to Marise

This week we said goodbye to a long-standing member of staff and manager of our early years service, Marise Gowenlock, who is leaving MCFB after 19 years of service to spend more time with her family and continue working privately as a psychotherapist.

Back to school and nursery

back to school

We'd like to wish everyone a safe return to nursery and school this week. It is bound to be a big period of adjustment for everyone. If you are unclear about when your child is expected to return and what measures are in place to keep them safe, please visit the Council website and Parent Club or check directly with your child's school to find out which day they are expected to return.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been successful in securing continued funding for our 4-2-7 project, which supports Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic children in Edinburgh with the transition from home and nursery to school.
