E-Visa Support

If you have leave to remain in the UK, you currently receive a physical Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). On January first, eVisas are replacing these cards and the physical BRP card will expire. They will not affect your immigration status, but you can use an eVisa to prove your leave to remain.
The Scottish Refugee Council has set up a page to support with the eVisa application process.

UNCRC Incorporation

Today is the day the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child ( #UNCRC ) is officially incorporated into Scottish law!
The incorporation builds on Scotland's long history of protecting children's rights but is also just the start of the opportunities it provides. Today will make Scotland the only country in the UK and the only devolved nation in the world to directly incorporate the UNCRC into domestic law.
